Muna is 21-year-old Ryerson University media communication student pursuing an honors degree in Professional Communication. Her previous experience includes working in public relations and managing the Facebook page for a Dubai-based blogger called ShamimScene. She then went on to be mentored by the head of communications at the Music World Cup, a global music competition under the umbrella of the Profound Investment Group. Here Muna experienced working in social media strategy, merchandising, brainstorming, storytelling, and public relations. She was granted the honour of writing the historical story of the Thai Royal Family for Profound Investments’ in-house magazine.

During her internship at the Music World Cup Muna also wrote a partnership proposal for the company to partner with Noisey, an affiliate of Vice Magazine. At her core Muna has always loved entrepreneurship, being an entrepreneur has been a dream of hers ever since she was a young child.

Her first dabble in entrepreneurship was in high school where she attempted to start a fashion styling business called Fabulous Fashion Styling. With this opportunity Muna had the chance to style the now Miss Egypt International Jory Bakr. After deciding to put aside fashion styling in order to focus on her education, Muna promised herself to continue working on her entrepreneurship goals once she gained more experience. As a strong believer in life-long learning, she wants to learn as much as she can and leverage this knowledge to grow Myconik into a global brand that includes a fashion collection and a beauty line.
