Svetlana Ratnikova

Svetlana Ratnikova.- IWB CEO, She  brings a wealth of national and international experience to the company — from entrepreneurial, corporate, recruiting and marketing. With a record of starting and transforming organizations she is skilled at designing winning strategies, identifying new opportunities and mobilizing teams to achieve results. She is a values-driven and passionate about being on the front edge, inspiring growth and developing teams. As a seasoned business leader with 25 years of broad experience Svetlana concentrates on building and nurturing agency culture of professional growth and client-service excellence.

Svetlana was born in Moscow, Russia and immigrated to Canada in 1994. She earned a degree from the University of Moscow in Marketing and Economics in 1989. Svetlana commenced her leadership journey at the tender age of 20, when she became of the first female entrepreneurs in Moscow.

In Canada she began her career with a major market research firm working with some of the largest companies in the world as clients. Soon after, she became a headhunter for pharmaceutical companies.

In 2001 Svetlana launched Terra Naturals Inc. with the mission to improve lives throughout completely natural, petroleum free body care products. She oversaw strategy, performance, budget and gained valuable experience in all aspects of global sales & marketing as well as product development and production. Svetlana has proven her ability to combine innovative concepting and deep understanding of global consumer insight, allowing the vision to be carried from idea to execution.

Svetlana also supports entrepreneurs of small to medium-sized businesses, leaders and professionals to achieve their aspirations and bring their dreams to life. She enjoys working directly with young people to help them to explore enterprise as viable and sustainable paths to secure their socio-economic futures.

Karen Tuffaha.

Karen Tuffaha is a highly driven student from Lebanon pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business administration at Memorial University of Newfoundland. 

Karen is a natural leader who is reliable, an excellent collaborator who quickly integrates into a team, and most importantly a compassionate individual who wishes to see positive change in the world. Karen has exceptional communication and writing skills. Karen discovered her passion for marketing after taking it as an elective at university.  As a result, she pursued two certifications from Google and Hubspot in Digital Marketing to learn more about the industry. Karen is proficient in social media marketing with experience in managing social media profiles on LinkedIn, TikTok, Facebook, and Twitter. She has written professional summaries for prominent figures in the industry and has experience in B2B marketing, event marketing, content creation, implementing viral trends, increasing engagement rates, and profile writing. Furthermore, her ideas and energy have benefited a number of IWB projects. Karen constantly pushes herself to grow, improve, and learn as a creative individual. She wants to pursue new opportunities to broaden her knowledge and expertise.

Arlene Arrospide

Arlene Arrospide is known for her positive attitude, excellent coaching skills, and strong work ethic!

Arlene immigrated to Canada in December 2021 with the goal of providing a bright future for her family and furthering her own education. She found her passion in the marketing industry after running her own coaching business in Peru and handling all her own marketing. As a result, she enrolled in a digital marketing postgraduate program in Canada at St Lawrence College and is currently pursuing her coop program with IWB. She was drawn to IWB due to its extensive networks and connections with successful and influential leaders in the business industry many of whom are successful immigrant women.

With her significant experience working in the marketing industry and as a previous freelancer at AaDigital, Arlene has assisted small businesses. Now she is getting expertise in creating efficient marketing, carrying out organic and paid advertising, SEO and SEM strategies, creating enhanced social content, email marketing, influencer marketing, market research, website creation and most importantly, the tools required for a company to outperform rivals with a solid marketing plan.

She believes in continuous lifelong learning, but also emphasizes the importance of putting what she has learned into practice. Arlene is a women’s advocate who is passionate about programming and marketing; her vision is to run her own business in Canada, teach others how to market/ advertise, and create personal development for others from her coaching expertise, to finally help them succeed in every area of their lives.

Akash Mukesh

Meet IWB and RTG’s Marketing lead, Akash Mukesh.

Akash is a reliable and professional individual who is passionate about his work! As a former national-level soccer player for his native country, Akash has a background as a professional gamer.

Akash discovered his love for marketing after taking the subject as an elective during the final year of his undergraduate degree. This inspired him to explore the industry and acquire marketing experience. To become an accomplished marketer, Akash decided to pursue a postgraduate diploma in marketing at Thompson university in Canada. As an individual who is passionate about learning with a strong desire of making a positive impact on the world,

Akash got introduced to IWB and RTG. He started out as an intern and advanced swiftly to the position of IWB and RTG’s marketing lead. He believes all the projects he tackles at IWB and RTG create an impact and difference in the world. Akash is a goal-oriented marketing professional adept at creating and executing strategic marketing campaigns, successful at growing market share, and increasing company profits all while supporting clients with cost-effective marketing campaigns. He consistently achieves targets and is well-versed in product branding strategies, customer engagement, and market penetration. His goal is to generate revenues for all the companies he works for and create opportunities for his fellow colleagues and friends in the future.
