Sophia is an influential, strong, and resilient administrator, skin care & cosmetic line owner, and mother. Her journey to Canada started at 16 years old whereby she attended school and college in Canadian institutions. She overcame many setbacks in her life that inspired her to always strive and keep going despite all odds.
In 1989 she had suffered paralysis from the waist down as a result of an unfortunate accident, however, that did not stop her from achieving her goals of helping others and walking again. She started off her career by studying makeup and learning how to apply cosmetics, then decided to start her own spa, and sell skincare products that help heel peoples skin. As time went by, she decided to end her spa career and to fully follow her passion of creating cosmetics and skin care products that make people glow and feel better.
Her passion was inspired by church activities, as she used to work with clay to form sculptures as one of her teacher’s constant positive feedback encouraged her to follow her passion and create natural satisfactory products from scratch.
Sophia has created a cosmetics and skin care line that relies on raw and organic Ghanian ingredients, such as shea butter, in 2011. Her main vision and goal was to help others, which she has successfully achieved in her work life by primarily, creating products that satisfy individuals, secondly helping individuals fill out forms for their pension plans, and finally joining our mission to help immigrant women in business.
Her success story inspires individuals that sometimes difficult, tough, and slow roads lead to beautiful successful destinations. In other words, you have to live through some bad days to earn the best days of your life and career.
